Soprano, Piano, Songwriter

Seiko was born and raised in Hiroshima, Japan, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in American and English Literature. She worked as an English teacher in Japan for 22 years. Seiko also wrote and directed musicals for the school students. She began playing the piano at the age of three and accompanied vocal groups in her college and adult years. Seiko started singing during college and since then has progressed to perform as a solo artist professionally in Japan. She moved to the United States in 2010 and shortly after began to perform as a soprano with Kirkland Choral Society. Recently Seiko has started writing and recording music with her husband. In 2015 Seiko performed for the Japanese Department of Foreign Affairs in Tokyo during a tea for United Nations Ambassadors spouses. Seiko has created two CDs and will continue studio work in 2015.
