INDIE MUSIKHAUS

WELCOME

FROM THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Welcome to Indie Musikhaus, the hub of a new kind of musical community where budding young artists and seasoned professionals, musicians and patrons gather in Seattle-area house concerts to share music with eager audiences.

Our house concerts are a mix of classical, jazz, musical theater, gospel, opera, and art song. We host musicians from all over the Seattle area, from solo pianists to jazz trios and string quartets. Sometimes we mix genres and sometimes we present a solo genre, always trying to tell a story through innovative programming and fun anecdotes. Our goal is a space where we can get inspired, try new ideas, hear something out of our usual music "box," and meet musicians and lovers-of-music outside our circles.  We need to encourage each other and collaborate with people and on projects that are new to us so that we can grow and mature as artists.

We hope Indie Musikhaus will feed you by providing a welcoming place to perform, enriching your life with beautiful music, introducing you to like-minded artists, and inspiring stimulating conversation. Plan to find some time in your schedule this season to check it out and consider becoming part of our musical family.

See you in die musikhaus!

Cori Belle, Founder and Artistic Director
